I have a problem with the engagement into 5th gear on my 94. I can get get into 1- 4th very easily, but when I try to get into 5th gear, the gear grinds slightly. Do I need a new clutch or is their some sort of synchronizers that I need to have looked at. I am new to the rx7 scene, so any info would greatly appreciated>

 

Prob syncro, 5th gear syncros seem to go out alot...

 

common problem with these cars. the 5th gear synchro is more than likely broken. u can order the parts and do it yourelf or have a shop do it
