clutch on its way out - need a new one
Do you have the model number on the plate?
ACT Street/Strip is fine for the street. I love mine, it's been stone reliable for 40k miles. Pedal effort is very reasonable.

The only numbers on the pressure plate are D049452 and there's a 133 stamped into one of the steel fingers. I tried to google the numbers with ACT and got nothing. I hope you have some secret information...
Nope. Well, I don't know how accurate the photos are on ACT's website, but there are slight differences in the pressure plates between some of them. The best idea would be to take pictures and send any numbers on the pressure plate to ACT and ask them. I've sent them questions in the past and they've always been responsive.
Wrong. I have the Racing Beat lightweight flywheel and it's been great, no issues, quicker revving.

Dude!!! there is no wrong or right!!!! it purely depends on the type of driving you do and the type of setup you have the FD. I personally have installed the ACT street kit with the light weight fly wheel and can't wait to have it removed.
Yes it does rev like no other and the response is fantastic but on the other hand if you are a lazy driver like myself and only drive the FD on the weekends it can be the total opposite of the benefit of having a lightweight fly-w.
Having to REV match every gear and engaging the clutch at a higher shift point is quite ******* annoying IMO.
I had an exedy clutch and pp in my 7 and it worked very well untill i upraded fuel, boost etc. started slipping so i took it out that same week and replaced it with the ACT Extreme PP and Proformance Street Disk. With the lightweight flywheel and counter weight. It is a matter of opinion, but i like the lightweight flywheel. It revs like a mother!
O and i still have the Exedy if anyone is interested, not sure if its stage 1 or stage 2. but i would let it go at a good price, still very good shape.

Okay, so I've got some pretty cool information to share. The stamp on the fingers denotes what pressure plate you have. The 133 is the Xtreme Duty and the 132 is the Heavy Duty
