clutch issues!!!

just had a rebuild and new pettit clutch last christmas...all fine for 1500 miles since rebuild but yesterday noticed that my biting point has lowred and the clutch judders on pick up in first ; through the other gears the clutch seems really agressive. Anybody got any ideas? also recently changed the clutch slave cylinder ....one near brake servo in engine bay.

help!

did you have the flywheel resurfaced?

no i didn't ....could this be my problem ? what else could cause this when i put the clutch down sometimes te revs drop really low and jump back up?????

Your clutch fork is bent and will be broken soon. I just went through this and am 96% sure that is your problem. You can order a new fork from Ray at malloy mazda for about $80 and you might want to order a wedge collar also if they are cheap in case you mess yours up.

I agree. Same thing happened to me. Get it fixed before it breaks and leaves you stranded.

One should always replace the clutch fork when one does the clutch on these cars.
