Clutch isn't able to go into any gear while on! HELP!
Hello~ For some reason my clutch isn't working right. There is no sign what-so-ever of slipping and it wasn't popping out of gear when I was driving. Just when I have the car on it refuses to go into gear *I litterally have to push REALLY hard to get it into gears*. It goes into gear fine when the car is off though. My mechanic said he bled the line and nothing... I was thinking the only thing it could be was adjusting the clutch pedal (isn't it right above the pedals)? I am not a mechanic in any way that's why I am asking you guys what you think it is. I don't have the money for a new clutch or for that matter a used one. The mechanic said to buy a new clutch and he'd install it. What should I do because he says to find out if he fixed my turbo problems cause it wasn't kicking in I'd need a new clutch cause he can't get it into gears... do you think I really need a new clutch? Thanks for helping everyone I really appreciate this forum (and YES for all you posters that say use SEARCH I did).
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I had the same problem after a clutch/flywheel install. I needed to use a friend's power bleeder to put pressure back into the system.

The system had enough pressure to move through the gears while the car was off, but once it turned on I couldn't get it in gear at all.
Here's what I would try in order:
1. Power bleeder
2. Check clutch line for any leaks
3. Check slave cylinder
