CT clutch install

just put in my clutch with the help form the video by wargasm ... VERY HELPFULL, but it would not release, so i just un bolted the pressure plate took the tranny out and then it came out and went in as smooth as butter..... VERY EASY JOB if anyone in the new england area ever needs a helping hand or a clutch alighnment tool just send me a pm. took all and all about 3 hours that includes a half hour of taking a break and eating pizza driving to get parts for my airpump, drinking a beer and that took a half hour.

so all and all i wanted to say thankoyou to everyone that has posted these helpfull links and responded to wich type of clutch i should get, very happy with the act street/strip i got from corksport. the old DK (exety) was fried.

so now tomorrow ill go to emissions with my airpump highflow cat and a few gallons of methanol and hope to pass.

while you were in there did you inspect the rear main seal and pilot bearing?

Also wouldnt have been a bad idea to re-torque all 18 tension bolts as well, spec is 24-28 ft-lb.

(this assumes you removed the flywheel)

In my Malloy reman with 27K, at least half the tension bolts were not at 24 ft-lbs of torque. I retorqued all of them at 28-30 ft-lbs.
