clutch help please

well, the problem with my clutch is that when i step on it to first gear, its fine, but as i step on it going to second somehow i have to step further down more and then my gas pedal feels like its way up there. so its pretty much clutch is way down to switch gears and gas pedal is way up there to feel it. so if u have any idea please do help. thanks.

1) You should always put the clutch pedal to the floor when shifting, so I assume you're referring to the 'friction point' moving. If you're not putting the clutch to the floor, start doing so.

2) I'm guessing your clutch master and slave need rebuilt.
