Arrow Clutch Goes to Floor when Cold

I've been having a problem with my clutch pedal when I first start the car. It's like there is nothing but free play in the pedal, it goes straight to the floor with no effort at all. Everything still engages and disengages ok but the clutch operates in about a 2 inch zone right at the floor.

If I drive it, then let it heat soak, the pedal pressure comes back and all is good with the world.

Just as a little background, the master cylinder was below the fill line when I first noticed it and I filled it up. Ever since then, this problem has been going on.

Has anyone had this problem before and if so, what was the remedy?

Bleed the clutch hydraulics first. If that doesn't get it, you might be due for a master or slave cylinder.

Yep. Most likely a slave cylinder.

Others have suggested it might be a slave cylinder. How hard is that to change? How expensive?
