Clutch fluid reservoir with 929 m/c

I can't think of a reason why this would be a bad idea but as I'm new to the FD thought I'd pose the question and see if theres something I haven't thought of.

I have a 929 master cylinder ready to install when I've chosen a brake kit, the 929 cylinder comes with a new fluid reservoir but does not have a port for the clutch. Instead of swapping over my old reservior I thought I would add a seperate one for the clutch.

Any reasons not to?

Richard

I used the original reservoir with my 929 without any problems.

If you have a stock reservoir what is the point in not switching it over? A separate reservoir will only take up space, and also won't have the integrated warning light.

Spray it out with brake cleaner. It'll look like new.
