clutch choking question

hi, my car's clutch in the rain is starting to choke my engine up a few seconds after engagement, so it bucks around and makes acceleration unstable, so i just have to disengage and coast when it gets bad then repeat that process to go. im thinking this is coming from the moisture...any ideas what the problem is with my clutch?
