The ACT Street/Strip clutch is one of the more popular brands/model for FD owners. Also upgrade the clutch line while you are at it.

^What he said. And maybe consider changing out the clutch fork too. They've been know to break with time or with the upgraded pressure plate. IIRC...~$45

I would probably get a lightweight flywheel as well but who knows which flywheel will work the best with the ACT Street/Strip clutch?

Flywheel brand isn't really that important. The type of flywheel will depend on the use for the car. For just street driven cars, the stock flywheel is just fine.

I just did mine a week ago. Since it began to slip at high boosting. I did not want to loose my much work for boost so after consulting my specialist we went for an Exedy 3 finger Cerametallic racing clutch http://www.coximport.com/exedy/ceram...tml?make=Mazda with a slighter than midum pressure plate. If you are to replace the clutch consider the pressure plate as well. If one if done for the other is not far away usually. Better to replace them both than haveing to reopen.

Anyway the car is a bit more rough than usual but I still have to get the feel of the new clutch which I am rapidly getting used to. Power transmission is much much better now.

I sell a lot of clutches and the most popular are the ACT and the spec.
