Cluster/Speedo Asisstance

Hey guys/girls

my build is coming to and end, just having issues with my cluster.

My oil pressure gauges, and ful gauge work fine, but no rev, water gauge - and perhaps speedo (unsure because hasn't been driven yet). All lights are working fine etc...

I checked all fuses just to make sure, and they are all fine. Last I remember the cluster is connected to the harness? I've done some searching but unfortunetly haven't helped.

What to look for next?

Thanks

Do you have the engine harness fully hooked up in the car? One of the grounds on the engine harness is tied into the instrument cluster, without it hooked up the cluster will do some weird things.

i also have the same sort of problem denis, i think i've traced it back to the speed sensor. i've also got a new cluster on the way and will try that first. i think speed sensor because the pfc displays 0kmh all the time.

lol omg same issue I have. I've gutted just about everything on my car so I can't simply ask
"what's changed". My speed, rpm and temp aren't working. But my fuel level is.

I'll have to check for that ground Dale.

Mmmm... see the reading of my revs are working on my PFC so i'm thinking its more of a wiring issue for me? Isn't there a main plug for the cluster that is on the wiring harness?

Definiately sounds like the speed sensor for you brad... have you installed the new cluster yet?
