Exclamation Cluster Problems (Not the cluster itself)

I need help from someone much smarter than me as i am stumped. I help out at a small rotary shop in the midwest, and we currently have an fd that has stumped us with cluster issues. The cluster is almost completely inop minus possibly the fuel gauge. but all other gauges read nothing, the oil pressure gauge maxes out, and the lcd display shows blank. All of that is with the engine running. In acc the display lights up as it should and all gauges are in their neutral position. We initially sent the cluster out for repair, got it back and still have the same issues. Tried swapping the cluster with a known good cluster from another car, still the same. If we add a jumper ground wire to the ground screw at the back of the cluster the tach, oil pressure, and lcd display work as intended, but the coolant temp and speedo are still inop. Checked both the coolant temp and speedo sensors and they both test good and read as expected. Have been staring at the wiring diagrams for 3 days now and am pretty much out of ideas. Hoping to maybe get some insight from people who have faced this problem before, or someone much more knowledgeable that me about these problems that i may be able to bounce ideas off of. If there are any questions about what i have tested and looked at or anything like that i am more than happy to answer them, just want to get this car back to the owner so that he can enjoy his car problem free for the rest of the season.

Any chance the engine is out of the car? The ground at the top of the block from the ECU harness needs to be hooked up for a lot of the cluster functions to work.

The engine is in the car, it has however been recently removed. Although I checked all the grounds that I have heard mentioned tie to the cluster. And unless I am missing one somewhere they all seem to be good.

Wow, same exact symptoms... I also had the cluster "repaired" but no improvement

Did you check that all the grounds actually have continuity?
