clicking solenoid?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone else who has the Greddy Profec Spec S boost controller hears a lound clicking from the solenoid at full throttle. Kind of reminds me of an exhaust leak and would like to quiet it down. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Jerry

Its the boost controll solenoid limiting your boost(turning off and on rapidly). You could take it all apart and silicone the solenoid, and it will quite it down.

Thanks Speete, I'll probably try it cause the clicking is kind of annoying.

The solenoid should cycle under boost as it's working. Is it mounted to the car on some sort of rubber isolator? If it's bolted right to the frame of the car, the vibrations will transfer to the car and be obnoxious.

I have NO idea what "Speete" is recommending - that just sounds like a good way to destroy a working solenoid valve. I'd take that advice with a grain of salt bigtime. That makes no sense!

I actually don't have the car with me right now so I can't even do anything. I'm not sure about opening up the box and touching the solenoid. I was thinking just making a little tin box with some sound deadener(foam maybe?) around it in the engine bay. Pretty sure the clicking isn't from the frame, but I could be wrong.
