upon start up of the car, theres a clicking noise... i can't really locate the noise but its like... to the right of the alternator...and down a bit i think... but once the car gets warmed its not there, but maybe the engine noise coveres it?

 

i might know what ur talking about but i only notice it after the engine shuts off id like to know what it is also

 

Maybe it's the airpump pulley clutch engaging/disengaging? Or am I just beeing stupid?

 

Are you talking about the ticking sound made by the downpipe expanding when your car is warming up? Or is a new noise?

 

Its your SPark Plug wires.

I had the same problem..

At night pop your hood and look in the area
you'll see the electrical arch.

There is I think a COIL right under the UIM.
and if that boot on the wire goes bad or has
a slight crack in it. it will arch to the UIM.
During idle you can hear it because its arching
so slow. While you are driving and etc
its going so fast, you don't notice it.

Easy way to check is look at the Engine bay*area*
at night
