Question Cleaning the twins before installing questions?

I have a set of twins that have been sitting for a long time. So my question is, is there any way to clean the inner and outlets of the twins and also the oil and coolant inlets and outlets? Is there any way I can blow air threw any of the passages that will make it out the other side? Thanks for the help if you have any pic that will help that will be awesome. Never done it so sorry for my ignorance.

I bought a set that had been sitting for a while. The best i could think of was to shoot some compressed air through the lines and try to clean the insides out the best i could. I stuck the air nozzle in one of the coolant lines and ended up shooting dried up leaves and flower petals out the other end of the line! It scared the hell out of me because they shot out the other end right into my face..

I would also appreciate some input on this thread. Is there anything else we should do for the oil fittings on the chra's?
