Cleaning my engine

My engine bay is pretty.... hrrrm I can say... NOT CLEAN AT ALL. When I did my vac hose leak project, I noticed how dirty it was, I cleaned some parts but way down by the turbos... theres alot of grease and ****. What do you guys reccomend I do to clean the whole engine bay. What should I look out for? Thanks in advanced.

Use S100 which is available at motorcycles shops. Its safe for all materials.

Hose the entire thing off. Won't hurt anything. Make sure motor is not too hot otherwise you could crack something like the exhaust manifold. I use water mixed with a little simple green or castrol superclean. You will need to rebuff any polished stuff after though.
