Cleaning my engine
Cleaning my engine
My engine bay is pretty.... hrrrm I can say... NOT CLEAN AT ALL. When I did my vac hose leak project, I noticed how dirty it was, I cleaned some parts but way down by the turbos... theres alot of grease and ****. What do you guys reccomend I do to clean the whole engine bay. What should I look out for? Thanks in advanced.

Hose the entire thing off. Won't hurt anything. Make sure motor is not too hot otherwise you could crack something like the exhaust manifold. I use water mixed with a little simple green or castrol superclean. You will need to rebuff any polished stuff after though.
yeah none of my **** is polished. theres some small portions here and there like the pulleys (which will be changed sometime later), but nothing major. thanks for all the tips my fellow rotary brothaz.
