LOL, that seems to be an *** backwards way of doing things to me.....Wax, and then 3 step cleaner? You do realize that it removed the previous wax? Color Cure is useless, cheap wax......still turned out well though. Good results....go here for more info on how to make it look right.

Yeah Zymol is about $80. I hadn't seen the Mother's calybar and was almost about to get some from Zymol. I was sure glad I didn't.

I'm a professional detailer and I don't use those clay bars. Those ones are way too small anyways, I'm gonna look into getting the nice good large ones for professional use.

cloud9 is kinda right. To be honest you dont really need all of that. I can fully detail a car with just the use of soap, water and a little bit of a really good quality wax. Sometimes all of that stuff is just overrated and you need to learn some tricks to clean certain things so you dont have to go out and spend all that money on expensive crap. For instance, to get rid of water spots on your paint (like if its in a small area or even a larger area) you can use windex or glass cleaner to get rid of those spots. You can also use the windex to remove the grease from the wheels and clean wheels. There's other tricks you can use too but there's actually technique to detailing a car when you actually wash it and everything else other than just using a lot of products. I can wax a car and make it look like its been waxed polished and clayed or whatever you want to say. I've also been told by some fellow detailers that the clay bars don't even do that much you cant do without it.

Yeah me too me too I'm a professional ghetto garage detailer too. The clay bar that comes with these DIY kits are indeed too small, but it gets the job done if I'm only working on one car, mine

As for those 800 steps involved with the other 300 bottles that you gotta use, I did try that once, but it took too long and not worth it IMO. With the setup I'm using now it's much better and less time consuming.

So yeah, this was taken earlier today, Zymol liquid wax, with Zymol spray wax, and then some Mother's detail spray wax.

Your hood looks good but the S100 Cleaner wax would remove all of your other waxes :/ and the nice wet shine is coming from the s100 carnuba wax. S100 is a great wax dont get me wrong but it isn't very durable at all.

My car has been waxed with this combination for about a month, I live in an apartment with lots of tree coverage/pollen/rain/etc.... and it looks as good as the first day, the HGSG is great for protecting the paint
look here for more info on it. Lets just say its good for 12 months before it wears off.

EviLPeNeviL your car is beautiful! Your RX7 emblem, did you remove the Mazda under it? and is there a hole under it or just adhesive?

After reading the initial post I went out and got the Mother's clay bar.

It indeed is like magic. There were spots on my car (tar or whatever, just little black or reddish dots) that had been there for <1 year. No amount of washing or waxing would take them off. A couple/few hours with the clay bar made it shine like new. I was amazed how much crap was on my car now that there isn't any.

The only thing now is to get rid of the swirl marks that show up in some places.

Yes, I've noticed the S100 doesn't tend to last very long also. It will put an AMAZING shine on the car, but doesn't stay clean for more than a week or two if it's driven daily. Then again, the wax is for Harley's that see the road on 5 nice days out of the month.
