Take care Chuck. I bought alot from you over the years, and you were a great vendor with top notch products. I can see why you are leaving though, it's probably hard to make a living making parts for cars in the US that are at least 11 years old

Assuming that the reason is the dwindeling RX-7 market (which may or may not be the cause), perhaps one solution would be expanding the shop to some more cars. This might be an idea for the next person heading operations.

An FD specialty shop can only sell a finite number of front bumpers, vmounts, toe links etc. There are only so many FDs around (we'll soon find that out thanks to uscmatt), and that number continues to shrink due to the idiot kids that buy them and promptly crash them. Some may be resurrected, but those aftermarket parts are still on the car. They may get taken off and sold, but they have to installed on an FD somewhere.

Bottom line, the FD aftermarket parts market is definitely drying up. It makes sense, it's been 11 years since the last new FD rolled off the assembly line......
especially if those bumpers don't fit correctly.

That's sad to hear. I've bought a few things from them and the quality is top tier. I better put in a order for a few more parts in case the unthinkable happens.

That is just a stupid comment to make. Not to burst your bubble but Canada is decades ahead of the U.S Economically and Socially.

Also, I am sad to see RE go..

Best of luck with whatever comes next Chuck Had the monster v-mount on for a few weeks now, it's nice to see positive boost at 2k rpm (last time I saw that the car was sequential) don't know if I'll get a chance to dyno it before you move on but the butt dyno indicates a noticeable improvement on the Greddy SMIC I had before. A pleasure to deal with, if only the same could be said of Paypal and Bax

All the stuff shipped by freight can be tracked either by phone or online and they are insured. Why wouldn't us insure it since you are paying for it and paying to the freight company directly?

Anyway, I can't satsify 100% of the customers out there even though I am trying. If you did purchase one and you weren't happy, I am sorry aobut it.

Chuck
I have been to Chucks place many time and I see how he and Sunny pack the items being shipped. I would be shocked if Chuck sent something that got damaged or if he made and $$ on the shipping cost.. now if it was an ebay sell then ya....

Sorry to hear Chuck If I had known I would have ordered more..

Don

FD will be running soon.
