Question Chrome Gauge Bezels Faded

I think my FD spent a lot of time in the sun since the chrome trim around the gauges are faded.

I haven't taken the dash apart yet but can these be polished? Or are my only options to either buy a new bezel or paint it.

I did some searching but came up short.

Thanks in advance!

Just bought a new set myself only a month ago from Ray Crowe. Call him at Malloy Mazda. I think it was $93. Pretty easy to replace.

Thanks for the info!

I was dreading that it would be a lot of money. I can handle $100. I'll still wait and see if there are any other solutions.

You can buy new ones from Ray like rccaz mentioned and that is the rings and plastic covers all in one. I've also seen some guys paint them like black or red or whatever colors match their theme, just another idea if you don't want to drop a 100 bucks on new ones.

I painted mine black but that was just because I like the black bezel more than chrome.

I'll more than likely just buy a new one since I like the chrome trim.

Here's a very old photo of the gauge cover. You can see that the pieces are glued in place. You can take them apart, refinish them and glue it back together. However, at $100, it seems easier just to buy a new one.
