Hi all I'm doing the vac hose job next week and I want to change all my check valves. Does anyone know all the part #s for the (4?) check valves under the UIM? Also what else should I replace while I'm in there? FPD? Solenoids? thanks...

I think the stock ones are $20 a piece but you can get them at almost any parts store for $2 a pop.

GsrSol: from the parts diagram all I see there are the pcv valve and one check valve...is that all I need to replace? I'm pretty sure that there are more than just one check valve under there, can anyone please clarify this? Also, what else should I replace while I'm in there? I have 65k miles thanks.

 

okay it looks like I would need a total of 4 check valves, 2 of each part number. Are all 4 of them identical even though they have different part numbers? And is it really a good idea to pick them up at a regular parts store? Somebody please clarify this...thanks!

 

I thought there were 5 but I could be wrong.

I'm sure the oem valves are better and if you can spare the extra money, get them.
