check valves

I was asking for prices on the OE check valves for our cars. and seems like there are 4 main ones. Well the prices are pretty steep for just check valves 25-35 each. Thats a lot! Whats the difference between the OE Vavles from the ones you can get @ kragen or Napa auto parts?

Just go in and tell them you need some of the "one way check valves" that are normally sold by "HELP" in the red packaging. In fact most advanced auto parts stores and other parts stores have a whole big "HELP" section with things in red packaging that say "HELP" on them. They cost like 3-4 bucks a peice for the valves, but chances are they will only have a couple in stock. I don't know the part number but I am sure if you tell them they are made by "HELP" they will know what you mean. BTW, I used them to replace a couple of my broken ones and they worked fine on my car too.
