Check valve connection

the other side of check vavle is not connected to anything in my car i was wondering where it goes and what it does. i dont want to open the intake manifold so need to know where this goes.

If you check out http://www.fd3s.net, there is a vacuum hose diagram that shows where everything goes. IIRC, the one I circled in red doesnt connect to anything, and the one in blue connects to the underside of the UIM. The rest I dont remember off the top of my head.

Ok thanx found the other pipe it was connected to in the UIM. My black smoke disappeared and engine smoothed out. Didnt get to test drive the car yet though.
