Check Engine light coming on in my Rx-7. Please Help
I did a search, couldn't find anything,
my check engine light is coming on periodically, put a quart of oil in it, and it turned off for awhile, about 2 hours later, it came back on. Tomorrow i'm going to change the oil completely. Anyone know what the problem is? Or is the car just low on oil?

Beside the battery is a little black box with the word "diagnosis" engraved on it. With the car turned off, open this box and bridge the terminals named "TEN" and "GND" ( i think the terminals are labeled under the cover of this box) with some wire.
Turn the car to the start position (do not start the car) and the check engine light should start flashing. Long flashes = 10 and short flashes = 1. Count the number of flashes and then refer to the shop manual in section F to reveal your magic code!

mine came on too. Do the test to see whats up. If its running shitty(not as fast) my guess is a knock sensor. Puts the car in limbo mode and runs not near as fast. If its anything else get the code.
