cheaper injectors
Anyone else know what other cars used mazda's nippondenso 550cc and 850cc injectors, i.e. mx-6, millenium, etc...
Because it is an Rx-7 everyone in junkyards wants 10x what an injector should be. Other Nippondenso injectors usually run $10-$20 from local junkyards (compared to $80-$90 for the rx7 scrapyards).
help
-thanks

There isn't really a cheap option. But, a good reasonably priced option is to buy Blitz injectors - they have 550cc and 850cc side-feeds that are brand-new and just over $100 each.
IMHO it's not worth wasting your time with used injectors. A good injector is *key* to the whole fuel system - pay a little extra and get new.

I recently bought the Blitz injectors, but it took me a while to find a supplier who actually had them in stock about a month ago. I called like over 10 places online and luckily found one that had them in stock (they were and still may be on backorder from Blitz, even Blitz didn't have these in stock), this was after ordering them from a site who didn't have them in stock so I had to cancel that order, so don't order from a site unless you call them first to make sure they have them in stock. There are a ton of sites who list these on their website, but almost none actually have them in stock. http://titanmotorsports.com/ may have them, I was told by Blitz that titan probably had them but I found them from a different site and forgot to call titan first. You could also contact http://www.gothamracing.com and see if they have them in stock, although I paid less than they charged. Titan is a good company with cheap prices, I got my spec clutch from them and it was the lowest price online. Good luck. I also tryed calling rx7store.net all day when I was shopping for them and they never answered the phone or called me back so I don't know if they have them.
I also think it is best to buy new injectors, they are not cheap but at least you know they will last a long time where as if you buy used they could leak or something bad the next day after installing them, or you get ripped off and they are bad.
