Cheap headlight kits on eBay (Pictures)

I don't know why with a 3rd Gen not running and a front suspension issue I bought these, but thought I would share a few pictures.

I have a lot to do just to get the POS running (All about priorities I guess)

Enjoy!!

I've been waiting to see some better pictures than the ones they have advertised. Is there any chance you could get a distant shot of them. I realize your vehicle is being repaired so my request might not be a possibility.

Do you think they look better than stock, flip ups? How was installation? What's wrong with the FD?

Looks like the car is in better hands now. I saw it a few years ago when it was for sale. Will you be doing a full repaint? Glad to see you're bringing a 7 back to life.

Pictures from a distance will not be possible (Still in the air). Rims are decent looking (Konig Cafines, but one is damaged and no longer in production).

Yes this is almost a rescue (Repaint will be necessary when the mechanicals are completed.)

Light asseblies were a eBay purchase - almost $200 with shipping called a Halo headlights (Seller was Tomato racing). I like the looks, but I took the pictures with the assemblies just laying on the car (Wiring will be required).

Whats wrong - Engine Front, sub-frame, paint, seats, etc, etc (Looking more like a basket case every time I do something).

Ha ha! Columbus! I was there a week and a half ago, it was my first time in the states for nearly 4 years. Damn it was good to be back, even with all the ice and ****!

Those look like East Bear knock offs. I don't like how they bulge above the hoodline. Looks out of place.

What kind of front is that? I really like that bumper. How much did you pay for it?

Did you look at the first picture? They clearly do. Check it again.

Bling, bling! Sure are cheap enough and look like they would be easy to modify and put some real lights into them.

Not enough depth, which is why they stick up above the hoodline.

I was thinking that you could get some Hella's in there. Much like other people have done with the East Bears.

The East Bear lights sit lower and I think you'll find that the car had to be cut to get the Hella lights to fit, especially for the low beams, which are much deeper than the highs.

This picture shows the lack of clearance behind the IPF fog lights included with the East Bear kit. The Hella lights are obviously considerably longer.

Am I the only one who thinks all of the 'sleek light kits' in the pics in this thread make the FD look *worse*?

To the thread starter, the damaged Konig wheel is a blessing in disguise. Konigs are crap, and don't belong on an FD. You're better off with stockers in my opinion .

I agree, but they probably out perform the stockers, weigh less and allow for a cold air intake of some sort.

I'll give you one out of three . The weight savings is miniscule, and my FD with pop up HIDs gives me great lighting. I will agree on the ram air/dryer hose setup.

The bumper is one I picked up from the RX7 Store. I don't recall the setup name (Jason said one name and Xavier said another??) I think they are between 4 - 500. Mine had a crack and they gave me a deal. Hope to deal with Jason/Xavier to make this a respectable ride.
