I picked up the 1994 RX-7 today. Here's the skinny, but now I'm confused.

It has 49k miles on it. Salvage title, because of semi-minor front end damage. It is Chaste white with ALL the original body panels on it other than front bumer. The owner had me kinda thinking it was an R2 package. But it doesn't add up now. Its got: Front lower lip on air dam, dual oil coolers, no sunroof, rear spoiler, but black leather seats, and NO front strutbrace. Does anyone know what package this car could have come with to have dual oil coolers? Also according to the production numbers there were NO chaste White R2's. Is this a base with added oil coolers and leather seats?

maybe they used an R1-2 front air dam and decided to swap the oil coolers or something. Either way its close enough for me and I'm going to be VERY happy since the car is close to showroom as you can get.

sorry its a manual tranny.

And it Does not have the bose stereo in the back.

Is there a way to get the factory options via VIN?

Register, enter your vin, and it should give you the model name and original color.

It isn't an R2.

 

It is a base model. Someone has added on a few items. There are no white R2's
