Question Changing Brake Lights

All -

How the heck do you change the brake light bulbs? Could you please relay some step-by-step instructions?

Yeesh. This has to be a lame question, but I'm stuck.

Thanks in advance,
Chris.

It's actually quite easy.
  • Pop the hatch
  • Remove the three phillips head screws that cover the metal just in front of the tail lights
  • slide the tail light out to the side of the car (this might take a bit of force, but just pull, it'll come off)
  • rotate each of the three bulb holders counter-clockwise about 1/4 turn and pull out
  • replace the bulb
  • assembly is the opposite of dissassembly

Good enough?

Now that's some good explanation!

You don't even have to remove two of the screws. Only the short one has to be removed.

All - Worked as painstakingly detailed out for me. Thanks. I was suprised that the entire light assembly structure came out; I was thinking a portion of it did before your instructions.
