Talking changed fuel filter, now i smell like chevron

well it was not that bad at all. im glad i work out though. the hoses were stuck on the ends of the fuel filter. took me about 10 minutes just to get the hoses off and about 15 minutes total time aside from that. also took me 10 minutes to find the damn thing. all in all, its very easy. BTW, when i got bathed with the good stuff i noticed that the fuel was a bit brown. is that bad??? oh yeah, i put marvel mystery oil, that could be it. sorry.

You can say that again!
The fuel filter isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be.

Did you depressurize the fuel system and all that stuff? Of just take it off and put the new one on? How long did you have to crank it before it started once the new filter was on? Thanks.

well i did a rookie move. i thought that opening the gas cap(which worked quite well on my VW) would work for the 7. nope so i got showered. i didnt even repressurize it. it took about 3-4 seconds of cranking. i didnt kill the car though with a constant cranking. i went about two, then stopped and it started after about 1-2 more seconds. it actually feels as if it runs smoother now. i hope that helps with my fuel milage.
