Let me clarify some things, first of all the only reason to have CF parts is too obtain an extremely light part with extremely high strength, or asthetic reasons, for looks. When you laminate a part it becomes slightly heavier than a real part made from CF, but CF reinforced plastic is very strong as well. With dash pieces there is no reason to justify having lighter plastic. So you wrap them. The stickers and torasport kit are ****, the stickers is not a real CF pattern, its checkerboard. First glance you can see how fake it is. The torasport kit was nice, but it is hardly a good looking kit. You can fully tell that there are some sticker overlays on there. I wasted $350.00 on it and I could not stand it. That's what led me to start doing it. Anyone that saw what I do in person would be hard to say that it doesn't look amazing. I disagree about it looking like overkill with real CF, wouldn't you want the real thing? I think it is one of the coolest custom looks there is . I guess that is pretty obvious.

I don't think it's overkill - I just don't like the look - and that's what it boils down to; personal preference. Hey, some people like people like color coding their interior panels (red, blue, whatever...urghh) - whatever floats your boat,

d cups:
10.91 - 08.93 = version I
08.93 - 03.95 = version II
(these two versions are 'series 6' in australian terminology)
08.95 - 01.96 = version III
(this is 'series 7')
01.96 - 10.97 = version IV
(despite the build dates, these cars did not come to australia - we got left-over version IIIs.)
10.97 - 12.98 = version IV.V (4.5) (efini branding ends)
12.98 - 10.00 = version V
10.00 - 08.02 = version VI
(these last two are 'series 8')

* The key updates of version VI (vs version V) - 16bit ABS, EBD (electronic brake distribution), revised suspension settings, lower side impact bar, different colors (pure white replaces chaste white, titanium available for spirit-r, snow white pearl mica for the RZ), clutch interlock (clutch in required for start), white dials, chrome dial surrounds, nardi steering wheel with 'M' logo, slight variations in seat design/material, upgraded audio system, all cars have twin SRS airbags . Of course, the special editions (RZ, spirit-r, R bathurst R) had different specs too.
