CCA stays open leaving me no primary boost!

Just lost my primary boost the other day, and after snoopy around the hood I find that the CCA rod is extended out and stays that way even with the engine off. Checked the CRV and it seems to be holding in air. Also checked the lines that connect under the LIM and those seem fine.

After a drive, the air chameber (black plastic thingy) is pressurized. Where am I missing the leak?

The rod on the CCA does move freely so I dont think its stuck. Thanks in advance.

PS. My secondary comes online at 4500 with 11 psi.

Have you tested the Charge Control Solenoid?

in order for the charge control door to funcion properly it needs vacuum on one side and pressure on the other. loss of EITHER results in loss of function. check both pressure and vacuum tanks, each's one way valve, associated hosing, and last on the probabliity list is the associated solenoid. one way valves should be replaced as some appear to check out yet malfunction. don't forget they don't both align similarly as one goes to pressure and one vacuum.

most probable is a loose hose.

good luck
