When replacing the Catalic Convertor with a Mid-Pipe should you put the Sensor which was in the Cat into the MP. This sensor is the one that shows the exhaust overheat warning light.

I am pretty sure that the exhaust overheat warning sensor is located in the cockpit under the carpet (on passenger side). You shouldn't have to worry about this when installing a MP.

So should I just disconnect it and take it off from under the carpet on the passenger side ?

i think that the 'sensor' that you're talking about is just a ground wire. i'm not sure if you still need to hook it up or not.

You definitely want to replace any ground wires you disconnect from the exhaust system (I think that there is one between the catback and midpipe or converter.

Don't sweat the sensor, leave it in place.
