Cat back exaust?

Cat back exaust?
Can you put a catback exaust system on an FD aslong as you keep the cat and back preasure without having to get an FC box or do anything with your fuel management.
even if the catback gives you an extra psi of boost?? or will you have to give er more fuel to make sure nothing happens to the engine.
I know if you get straight piping you have to get an FC box to give er more fuel cause shes running 2 psi extra bost.
also is freeflow exaust liek cat back just take out teh cat and connect the pipes?
Cause i'd still want a larger size muffler on a freeflow rather then a straight dinky lil pipe comming out.
