Cast Iron Pipe Plug and Tap Problem

I'm doing my non-sequential conversion this weekend, so far I have hacked the door off the manifold and tapped it for a 3/8 pipe tap.

Here's problem #1:

I can't track down any 3/8 cast iron pipe plugs. All the stores seem to carry is brass or stainless steel which obviously won't work. Where do you guys who do the non-sequential conversions get your pipe plugs from?

Probem #2:

I have a couple of broken studs in my manifold, and I need to drill the holes out and re-tap them for the 10mm studs. Here is my issue:

I can't seem to find anywhere in town with a 10mm tap, and when I looked online at the sizing charts I found the following sizes:

10 mm x 1.5 8.7 mm
10 mm x 1.25 8.9 mm
10 mm x 1.0 9.1 mm

Does anyone know which size drill bit and tap I'm going to need for these studs?

Thanks

The plugs that your local Ace hardware sell are cast.

As far as your stud size problem, unless you are selling your car as original to an RX-7 collector, find the closest, next size bigger, standard and use that. Quit killin yourself

Well as it turns out, Ace didn't have them in the store

I'm going to try ordering them from Ace's online store because they do list them there.

Thanks again

Have it cast welded up. That is what I did when I did my conversion long ago. No issues with it.

Or send it to me and I'll do it for you

lowes has them, so does home depot. most places will list it as 'black iron' pipe.
M10x1.5 is an off size, only a good auto parts store is likely to have that one in stock. your local NAPA can order it for you, or you can get one from mcmaster.
