Carbon Fibre PFC Commander holder

Posted (hopefully) are pics of my Carbon fiber PFC commander holder. Based on CrispyRX7's beautiful alluminum version, this was made from a flat sheet of carbon/graphite fiber, with a dremel tool, and some alluminum standoffs.

Looks good and functional. Perhaps I'm blind, but I'm having trouble seeing the actual c/f weave. I just velcroed my commander near the hazard button and it's been fine for over a year. Only problem is that at the drag strip, it tends to fly off toward the back of the car when I launch. I've since learned to wedge it in the bolsters on the passenger seat .

This sheet is a actually a graphite composite, and the weave is REALLY fine... barely visible.

Its extremely stiff and hard to cut, i had it left over from when i used to design/fabricate R/C car chassis.

i bought a cell phone holder from pepboys. you put the commander in there and squeeze the holders together and it fits perfect. almost like it was designed for it. and glued it to the side of the e-brake. looks clean and you can adjust the angle. no problem at the strip. maybe b/c my launch sucks...best 60' a pathetic 2.140. too bad i don't have a digi-camrea. will post when i get one soon.
