That way you'd be sure that the new part was in spec and not distorted before making your mold. Seriously, I think this part in carbon fiber would look sweet and sell like hotcakes. You'd know within the first 2 or 3 test specimens if you had any fitment issues and could make adjustments then before mass producing them. If I had a local contact with extensive carbon fiber experience I'd be making them already!

13Bmaniac, i dont know anyone in particular, but i'm fairly sure there is someone else out there who will custom wrap interior parts in carbon fiber. I've seen listings on ebay for this type of work, so there must be some other place that does it. It'll just take a bit more searching.

as for price, you're going to have to ask fazzt73 about that. mine was done at no cost.

So are these 100% carbon fiber panels or are they just the overlays. If they are overlays are they removable or permanantly installed. Fazzt73 did you spray clearcoat on that pice picture or is that just straight epoxy?

its the same thing mark koch was doing before he quit....you send the pieces you want done, then its covered in CF and clearcoated.
how could you think that was an overlay? overlays look like total ****, if you want an overlay kit check out the other carbon fiber thread...those kits are a total waste of money, i'd never put one on my car
