Car wouldn't start, easy fix
Car wouldn't start, easy fix
So when I tried to start the car up a few days ago, all I heard was a click when I turned the key. I checked the battery and fuses and both were fine. The solution became apparent when I checked the clutch switch and noticed that the little metal arm that hangs off the clutch pedal and acts on the switch had a hole in it. When I depressed the clutch, the switch plunger passed through the hole. I'm guessing that there was some kind of plastic bolt that passed through the hole and it must have broken off. I fixed it with a hardware store special nut/bolt combo. I hope that leads someone else in the right direction.
