I just pulled the stern and AC panel to replaced my fan switch. Took her out for a ride last night to test. I was so happy I got all 4 fan speeds working on my AC again! The car drove like a champ! Stopped to top of my 1/2 tank and pulled her in the garage last night with no problems. Got it the car this morning to install my recently repaired stereo and the car won't start! It cranks just fine it just won't run. I checked the fuel pump fuse and tested the fuel pump really and both were good. Tried to start her again and I hear a strange buzzing sound coming from under the UIM. I just changed the plug and plug wires this summer so it cannot be that. Any ideas?

 

The buzzing noise is when the key is on and it is coming from under the UIM. I suspect it is the Idle Speed control valve or the Accelerated Warm up. But with either cause the car not to start? I am running a PFC for years with no problems.

 

Got her running. Found a weird disconnected plug on the Power FC. can’t figure out how that happened with the locking tabs?

 

they just didn't snap fully in. i've had that issue, took a year for a plug to wiggle loose, and nothing in the car will tell you what the problem is. glad you found it...
