Car ran great.. Full Power.... I got on the Highway and did a quick toll booth 0-120 , Held the clutch in to coast... Car dies. Now the car wont idle and its running rough. I get to my house , park it and wait till the next day when i deceide to change my plugs. The plugs are BLACK so i change them and fire it up. Upon ignition the thing shoots to 4k rpms and idles there! i killed the engine and began to scratch my head (only had car for about 5 days first rx7) Beings i have built alot of cars before i deceided it would be a good idea to dissconnect the positive line to let everything reset (hoping i wouldent lose the data in the FC) I put the terminal back on tighten her up and wahlah... idles great ...during the day , not to mention pulls about 30% harder now. so im relaxing with my girlfriend watching madagascar..(no car chases...no massive kung fu scenes or even gun fights! horrible)... Its now dark out... i start her up let her idle (the car not the girlfriend) for about 5 mins... great problem solved! WRONG as soon as i turn the head lights on Boom dead... or even the heat o full blast or the cd player with my foot on the brake (brake lights)... Im guessing this is a bad ground? the battery is great , the alt is working.... so im guessing? Any imput would be greatly apriciated. - Dale

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Did you do the full 30 min 3 stage idle learning? While you have the car fully warmed up, look at the narrow and wide readings for the TPS, the Power FC is picky about the voltage.

Spray some carb cleaner on all of your vacuum hoses, could be anything. Mine did a similar thing driving it down the road about 3,500 rpms push the clutch in dies. Tried to start it up wouldn't start, pop started it while I was still rolling, drove back to my house. The car would not start back up untill I replaced the plugs, The car started up but would not idle. Turned out it was blown. But as long as yours was idling fine that is not your case.
