car wont go into gear, squeaks, lunges, need help!

i took my car out for one last time before i put it away for the winter. i know i burned the **** out of the clutch, because i was driving with the intent on doing so, and i smelt it. its going to be replaced anyhow. so a few days later i had to start it up and move it out of my garage so i could spray one of my other cars. let it warm up, push in the clutch, grab the shifter, and went for 1st, but it wouldnt go in. if i push hard, the whole car will lunge and make this god awful squeaking noise. it would go into any gears. so i killed the car and then, it would go into all gears no problem,, with the engine off... so i fired it up with it already in 1st with the clutch pushed in, it lunged a little bit and stopped, no noises yet. i let the clutch out and the car started to move, then came the god awful squeaking/schreaching noise again. so i killed it and pushed it out..im in the process of pulling the trans right now, didnt seem like 2.4 quarts of fluid came out from it, maybe thats the problem? could it be anything else? like a bad clutch fork or maybe i killed the disc that badly? i dunno, i guess ill find out in a day or two when i finish pulling it out. i just wanted to see if anyone had some insight just incase i dont see anything when i pull it out. trans/clutch has 95k on it. thanks to all that help me out!

Sounds like the clutch is dragging, meaning not releasing completely. Maybe your bonzi run broke some of the friction lining away from the disk or warped the pressure plate. I guess as a long shot it could be that the clutch slave cylinder has failed. Regardless you'll know for sure in a few days, but I think its a good thing you were already planning on replacing the clutch.

i finally separated the trans from the engine. turns out the squeeking noise was due to a bad pilot bearing. it still doesnt make sense, becuase it would make noise with the car in nuetral. In this case, it made noise when the car moved in any gear. the pilot bearing is jacked up and on the input shaft of the trans it has some grind marks on it griding off the bearing/flywheel. Oh well, problem found! woo hoo!
