car stumbles in 3rd??
i have a stock 94 running non-seq. with a hd boost controller set at 10-11psi. after a redline run in second and full throttle accel. in third, the car stumbles at about 6200 rpm and then picks right back up. any hints? i'm wondering if it's a fuel supply problem. i have not changed the filter, however, it was changed by mazda about 12k ago when a reman motor and turbos were put in. any help is greatly appreciated. i plan on doing the filter next weekend and possible upgrading the fuel pump just to be safe.

plugsw have less than 2k on them. haven't changed the plug wires but ill do it asap. any recommendations on a brand? i've used ngk wires in the past and liked them. at least if that's the problem, i'm less worried about damage due to a lack of fuel.

Well, if it's just a little hesitation, it could be the plug wires. Ignition break-up in the upper rpms seems to be common as people mod their cars.
I'm using the 10mm Magnacor wires. Some people have had difficulty with them. They can be a pain to get the boots snapped on, but once they are on, I've never had one pop off.
