I got it started, it was the main fuse. Now it keeps overheating. It overheated twice already.

Ok any reasons why it's overheating? I broke the little red lever you pull up on the Aluminum AST, dunno if that has anything to do with it. What could it be? Pretty gay I finally get it started and it overheats twice after 2 min, I put coolant in the radiator tank, and the coolant tank.

That (the lever releases cooling-system pressure by lifting the center disk out of contact with its seal) could definitely cause overheating if that caused the cap to not seal properly - it would just blow coolant into the overflow tank and the cooling system would not be pressurized.

Can I buy a new cap for the AST anywere without buying the entire AST?

Yes, you can get them at just about any auto parts store.

Yes

Those are standard caps. You can get one at most auto parts stores. The concensus is to get the equivalent cap w/o the release lever, since the release-lever ones have a lot of problems like yours.

Coll thanks guys. Anyways, I found out I have a bad leak in my coolant tank, so it keeps leaking all the coolant. I guess I need to call Ray again.
