Car starter going very slow and not turning over...help?

OK i just got done doing the vacuum hose/ turbos simplifacation job. I got my car all back together and i knew the batter was kinda low but i tought i would just give it a try. Got in, tried to start and sounded like the starter was going slower then usual. So i let off and rolled up the windows and they went up real slow and hook up the battery charger and went inside. 5 min later i ran back out and try to start again. Still very slower turning over and the battery light in my dash was still on. So then i decide to give a chance to charge and come back it 30 min. Still a very slow crank, dont smell fuel like i did last time it was flooded. But keep in mind that the car has not been started for over a month. i get error codes for all the solenoids i unpluged but i knew that would happen. Could maybe me having some over the tubes open where vacuum hoses used to be cause problems? Any help would be great

Thanks
~Luke

Yeah, just put a new battery in there. The battery could be so blitzed that it won't charge. Change it right away before you waste more time.

Got a new battery and it turns over faster now but it sputters real bad like its almost there and doesn't. I think one on the spark plug wires is bad but could that causeit not to turn over at all? But i dont smell fuel yet so i'm not sure if it's flooded.
Any suggestions

Thanks

When you get it all up and running let me know the details on your turbo simplification and if it changed how the car runs at all
