Car stalls at Idle with A/C turned on
Car stalls at Idle with A/C turned on
Hunting down yet another problem. Cars idling at 900 something RPM and when the A/C is turned on the idle dips up and down until eventually stalling the car. I just replaced all of the vacuum lines and its pulling a steady 19 inches of vacuum.
Addressing a few CELs and not sure if their related.
IAT
AWS (not running this)
Relief 2 (can someone point this out to me, its not on vacuum diagram unless its relief 1)
split air bypass (can't remember if this was going off or not, ill check again when codes go up)
Car is on stock ECU and only mod is a catback.
edit: forgot to mention that my A/C isnt on the belt right now anyways.

Nope I haven't, I just figured since its off that it shouldn't have a problem, unless ECU can see that the compressor isn't spinning and stalls the car.
had it off the whole time because I can't run P/S right now, I'm missing a lot of lines for it.
Ill give that a try.

I had this problem before..
I had to replace the whole assembly. You can just unplug one of the wires going to the AC and it should turn it off so you could run it with the belt on. I ran mine like that for a while. I think the clutch was not engaging properly and had a whining noise which was gone when I replaced the AC assembly/compressor.

I'm not sure if my actual a/c is broken. Car just dying even though I have the belt off it but it's still plugged in. Maybe I should unplug it to see if that works.
