ok so i did a non seq swap on a imported engine for my freind,
I did the swap on the engine before it was put in the car.
on start up, it flooded out extremly bad, i changed the injectors and she fired right up.
the problem is, the car is spitting out oil ..more like pouring out of the exhuast, you can put your hand about a foot away from the rear tip and your hand will be covered in oil dripping off your hand.
did i miss a vacuum line or something? i have no idea im away form the car right now but will be going over tonight to tinker with it.
i told him it might just be from whebn the car flooded.... am i right ??

any ideas would help greatly

 

Normally burning oil especially from leaky turbo's is white. correct em if i'm wrong.

if it's oil and it's that bad of a leak. check to see if you losign oil quickly. is it black smoke and fluid? or just straight fluid? i could be left over gas if it's THAT bad.
maybe pull the plugs and push the fuel out that way to get rid of it faster?

and pure oil and a little mist of water
also this is the first time we have ever started the engine,
he is thinking he got a crap engine
but like you said it could just be leaky turbos

 

well. best way to check really, as far as i know. would be to remove the manifolds and turbo
s.. and see if the oil is coming out at the turbo's or engine. but i'm not sure how hard it is to do all that. i imagine a bit tedious. anyone else wanna chime in?

im going to proceed to pull the turbos and rebuild them tonight
if that fails im thinking that the engine is junk
if that is true hes going to rebiuld and go single

any other ideas minus the turbos
would be cool

It's probably an oil leak from the turbos, considering the quantity of straight oil coming out the exhaust...
