Unhappy Car in the shop but curious of potential power-

I sent my cracked oil filled stock twins to rx7 store . net to get the stage 1 power upgrade from BNR..a month later, they arrive back to me. I also purchased the greddy profec-e01 boost controller etc., racing beat mid pipe, hks down pipe, hks n1 turbo catback, petit air seperator, hks intake, and hks super squential bov. Thats all i can think of at the moment..............any who i was wondering wat an accurate estimate of my future HP will be and an estimated edjc. guess of 1/4 time and 0-60 time.

5 speed
93 rx7 tt

thank you, --curious tom

It wasn't a stupid comment. He really was giving you an 'accurate estimate' if there were to ever be such a thing.

id be careful with that many mods and the stock ecu. do you have a boost gauge? id get 1 to make sure you dont creep or spike, because even with a boost controller, you still can creep or spike.

So..one worthwhile gauge, one you already have, and one that doesn't give useful readings without further mods. Good plan!

How about no more stupid questions? Yeah, the car will pull really hard and good until you blow the motor. How about you spend some time researching something. I know Jason and Xavier at the rx7store would tell you about getting an ecu with those mods if you asked.

BTW, an autometer a/f gauge will be worthless. And why buy an aftermarket tachometer? What's wrong with the stock one?

It just sounds like more of the same to me -- some young kid who's seen TF&TF too many times and has too much money to spend....

e-manage is a horrible computer for the FD. Get a Power FC/Haltech/Microtech/TEC III ....SOMETHING...

With those "mods" ...your engine will go "BOOM BOOM BOOM" instead of "VROOM VROOM VROOM"

im in agreement with rynberg and jspec here.

you need your power fc...but you will also need a tuner to do the tuning for you...there are some great rx peeps in new york. you will be seeing them shortly im sure.

Instead of emanage and Profec E just go with PFC and commander and you'll be fine after a good tuning.
