I installed a PFC PMS, and shortly after I starting noticing that everytime at startup the car would smoke much more than usual, and transition got much slower. Transition takes till about 5.5k till full boost is restore, where previously it would be restore right away. I decided to check the oil and the oil went down a good amount from the last time I checked. I kept looking under the car for oil dripage and to my suprise nothing. I thought it was the PMS settings were far off, but Wade said they were not. Could my second turbo be going out? Or is it something different..

 

Best thing to do is run just the stock ecu and see if you are still getting the same issues.

 

Could the car be running excessively rich? Would this cause the slow spool up of the secondary turbo? I noticed that when I let the car idle not much smoke is coming out, but I can see where some liquid is being sprayed outa the exhaust. I blipped the throttle a little and the I get some puffs of smoke. I will try taking the PMS off tomarrow...Any suggestions 'till then?

 

Doesn't it have to be tuned..? By a professional? Maybe that has something to do with it.
