dunno if this helps, but after i got my new hood, it solved many heating problems i had, parked the car and the coolant gurgles for about 10 secs and thats it. I can actually touch almost everything under the hood after a drive. even the coolant cap!

I going to be getting the Scoot hood, it looks very good and I love that scoot, intake port, vent whatever you want to call it in the center and it seems perfect for my setup seeing that its right infront of the Rad.

Sound like u just need to brp the system. Get all the air bubbles out. Check ur thermostat as well. I had a gredd front mont and the koyo and never had an problems with keeping the temps down. es I drove in heav traffic....it was my dail for about 5 years. Ill never do that again tough(use it as a daily I mean...lol)
