car got painted but....

tonight we had just finished rolling the car in the garage after being painted when my brother and i went to get something to eat meanwhile my dad was going to park his car in the driveway but since he had just finished tunning his car "55 chevy bel-air" he tried to lite the tires up a bit but didnt notice that i wet the driveway before i lef.t so we come back home and the rx-7 has a broken bumper and a broken new 99 spec blinker light. what a way to end a good day.

similar thing happend to me last week... dad needed to get some stuff out of the garage so he backed the old 67 MGB out... unfortunatly he backed it out a little too far, my 93 project car (which i had left on a car jack) was behind it... he bumped it and knocked it off the jack. no harm dont to the FD except some marks on the rear bumber, but the MGB was ok (the MG was what i was most worried about when he told about the mishap) i love the 7, but the MG comes before anything (i probably shouldnt have said that outloud, but its the truth ) -heath

Er?

Mini as in Mini-Cooper? If that is what you are asking, no. Morris Garage is the founding company that built the MG line of cars such as the MG-TC, MGA, MGB, MG Midget, MGB-GT, etc.

i hate that with a passion. I dont care if im retarded and mess up something of mine. But when my brother or parents do something stupid and break my **** i get pissed. My mom tried to open my drivers side door and didnt unlock it all the way and broke my door handle. I got mad and punched a hole in the garage dry wall.

^ yeah seriously, **** happens. i used to get all worried about scratches and **** on my car, and little dings, but recently ive just said **** it... almost anything can be fixed, so dont stress it. ive had to deal with lots of car disasters (my whole interior molded in a week...its a long story) but almost anyhting can be repaired. theres no point in upsetting yourself because you cant turn back the clock

My thoughts excatly. It's a car, it's meant to be driven, and in that time, **** happens. You can deal with it, or you can have a heat attack because of stressing about it.

Sucks about the paint job. I hope Dad will be paying for the respray.

Probably. I find it utterly and totally retarded. At least do it on the street. The only thing dumber would be doing it in the garage with the doors closed.

i wouldnt be mad at either of my parents dented or scratched my car because of how supportive they are about it. both of my parents would feel bad enough because they know how important to me it is. mistakes happen.

Hey now....I've done a burnout on MY drive and all my son's friends thought it was cooler than ****!

I think it is cool that Kinetik's dad is the type that WILL do a burnout, personally.
