Clutch works fine as far as i can tell. Looked inside the turbo inlet and downpipe and there was some oil residue, but nothing major. No obvious leaks from that area...

i had a similar problem awhile back with some bad turbos. I hope it all works out for ya.

Thanks, me to. Did the person you buy the turbo's from refund your money? I dont think its comming from the turbos tho... idk where else to look?

they were free from a friend, had like 50k on them.... if it comes down to buying some turbos, I bought a rebuilt set from a company on ebay (not usually recommended I know - but theyre great) for like 400. they still list them.

not sure if that helps. best of luck. I (as i'm sure many of us do) know what it's like to have the fd down for an extended time - I'm going on 14 months.
