Car feeling slugish
Car feeling slugish
So this just started happening but I don't know what could be causing it. The car ran fine up until last week. What's happening is when I get on the accelerator the car does great till about 3k rpm, then it seems to lose its punch. My a/f sit between 9.9 and 10.2, (9.9 only happened once and I thought that might be a bit rich) and the boost sits at 8 to 9 psi. The car is a single turbo with a power FC. Recently all I've done was ad in some more oil due to consumption (no smoke on start up) and recharged my AC with ES-12a.
Double check the vacuum and boost lines as a start. Being a single turbo, its hard to diagnose, as we dont know the setup of the car or the parts used, or the history.
If no leaks, then there could be a component at the end of its service life, or a boost controller issue?

I checked the lines and as far as I could tell everything was hooked up. Also as an other symtpom, this car is having issues when I'm holding a constant speed where the Rpm is between 2.5k and 3k. For some reason it fluxuates and then goes lean until I take my foot off the gas. Today it hit an all time high of 17.2, it's never gone that lean before which makes me think the problem is getting worse. As a note the car came with a power FC.
Okay, so new development. I just was going out to check my tps, but ran into an new problem. I started the car, but it was idling low. It then started to run lean so I turned off the car. Now when I turn the car over it wont start, it will turn over, but it wont run...WHAT THE HELL????? The only thing different was that I parked it out side last night.
The car turns strong so I'm guessing the battery is good. Unfortunately I live at an apartment complex so I'm limited to what I can do. I broke down and sent the car to Tri-Point.
